LOCATION & ENTRY POINTS
The festival is being held on the Dukinfield Town & Youth Football pitches next to Astley Sports Village. Entrance and exit will be via Astley Sports Village only – there will be no access via Coronation Avenue, Mountbatten Avenue, Queensway or any other surrounding residential streets.
PARKING
We encourage everyone, where possible, to walk or get public transport to the festival.
Official parking is available at Astley Sports Village on a first come first served basis, this is limited to 100 spaces.
Cars can be left overnight but are left at the owners risk and must be removed by 4pm the next day otherwise will be locked in.
LAST ENTRY TIME & PASS OUTS
Last Entry / Re-Entry – 7PM
Pass Outs – Most festivals do not allow pass outs, however as we are a local community / family friendly festival we understand there may be times people need to leave and return e.g taking children home, going to check on a dog etc. Pass outs are at the discretion of our security team and you may be asked to wait by the security team to allow a safe exit and re-entry. Please note all patrons readmitted will have to go through the search procedure again.
TICKETS
Tickets are sent by TicketSource at the time of booking to the email address provided, please check your spam folder if you haven’t received them.
Each individual will need a ticket to enter the festival, regardless of age – this includes infants. The best and easiest way to do this is to print out your tickets. If showing tickets on a mobile phone this needs to be the original PDF ticket and not a screen shot or photograph of tickets. (Once the ticket has been scanned for entry it will not scan again).
If you have booked as a group and want to arrive separately then please ensure you print your tickets so each person has their own individual ticket.
Ticket categories will be checked to ensure it matches the person entering and our events team reserve the right to refuse entry, so ensure you have booked the correct category.
ADVANCED TICKETS ONLY – No tickets will be available on the gate.
LOST TICKETS
If you are unable to locate your tickets then please enter your email address on the ‘Lost eTicket’ section here to retrieve them. Your tickets will then be re-emailed to you. Please ensure you use the ‘Lost eTicket’ section and NOT the ‘Contact Event Organiser’ section as tickets will not be resent from this.

CHILDREN, & MINORS POLICY
Children and minors aged 17 & under MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 with a ratio of 1 adult and 4 children.
This is clearly stipulated at the time of booking and is printed on the eticket.
Unaccompanied children and minors will be refused entry and no refunds will be given.
CHILDREN & BABY’S
Prams, strollers & push chars are allowed in to the festival.
There will be an indoor baby change area located in the clubhouse facility within the festival arena.
This is a music festival, if you have young children you may want to bring some ear defenders.
DISABLED ACCESS
The entrance to the site is suitable for wheelchair access, however please be aware there is an incline up to the football pitches and is grass which may become boggy if it has been wet weather.
We have disabled toilets on site.
One free carer ticket is provided per full paying disabled customer – please email your booking reference to info@madeinmanchesterfestival.co.uk along with a photograph of your Blue Badge, DLA Letter, or note from a Doctor or Specialist etc.
FOOD & DRINK
You can bring your own food but we would encourage you to support the local traders with various food options to choose from.
We have outdoor festival bars serving a wide variety of draught lager/beer, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We also have a Gin and Cocktail Garden.
Bar prices will be in the region of £4-8.
No cans or glass bottles or unsealed drinks will be allowed in to the festival.
STRICTLY NO BYO ALCOHOL DUE TO LICENCING.
WATER & FILL UP POINTS
Sealed bottled water will be allowed into the festival and will be sold at a number of the bars/vendor stalls.
Water fill up points are available, please ask the security and stewards on the day.
ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES
In addition to the great lineup, there will be various entertainment and activities for all ages at the festival. Some activities, such as the fairground rides, will be at an additional cost. Prices range from approx. £2-4.
CASH & CARD PAYMENTS
Please ensure you bring cash and change. Card payments will be encouraged by most vendors but not all. There is no ATM on site.
The bars are card payment only.
CHALLENGE 25
The festival and bars operate a ‘Challenge 25’ policy. Please ensure you bring valid and recognised photographic ID.
CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR
Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather forecast. This event is outside on a grassed area.
SEATING
Feel free to bring camping chairs and picnic blankets to sit on.
FESTIVAL FLAGS & SMOKE FLARES
Please feel free to bring Festival flags, they are very welcome as long as they are not causing too much of an obstruction.
Smoke flares are strictly not permitted and the security team reserve the right to evict anyone found to be in possession. It is now illegal to let off a smoke flare in a public place.
BAG SEARCHES & PAT DOWNS
For everyone’s safety our security teams will carry out bag checks and pat downs.
MEDICATION
If you need to bring medication with you, please bring a doctor’s note if it is not easily recognisable. Please don’t be offended if security question the medication, it is their job to ensure the safety and security of all customers.
RUBBISH & LITTER
Please take all rubbish to the nearest bins or take it home with you.
DOGS & ANIMALS
Only assistance dogs will be allowed into the festival.
PERSONAL POSSESSIONS
Pitch Productions Ltd, Made In Manchester Festival and the venue accept no liability for the loss or damage of your own personal property whilst attending our festivals.
SMOKING
Made In Manchester operates a No Smoking policy within the festival site. Please ask the stewards and security team for the designated smoking area.
BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
Everyone is attending the festival to have a good time. Please ensure you are respectful and courteous to fellow festival goers, volunteers and staff. Any unruly, disrespectful or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and the security team reserve the right to remove you from the festival site. Please also be respectful to local residents and their property both en-route to and going home from the festival.
FUNDRAISING
The event is supporting the future success of grassroots sports at Dukinfield Town & Youth FC and also supporting local charity Fundraising for Florence.
