CAN I HAVE A REFUND?
We are kindly asking everyone to please support us and keep hold of your tickets for the rescheduled date. The future of ‘Made In Manchester’ Festival in your community depends on this – from the people who are keeping hold of their tickets wanting to attend next year to the local businesses, venues, sports clubs and charities that benefit from the event in your area.
Whilst we completely understand everyone is affected by this awful situation in different ways, a small amount to each individual that has already been paid, could build up to a huge amount and mark the end of a small festival.
As a small festival that only started in 2018 we rely heavily on the support and loyalty of our festival goers and sponsors to put on an amazing day for the local community. Many costs have already been committed to and we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure we bring you the same amazing lineups and offerings in 2021, as advertised for 2020.
This is such a fast changing situation, we need to ensure the health and wellbeing of everyone and also ensure we are able to bring the same great festival to your local community in 2021. This situation is completely out of our control and something nobody could ever have planned for.
We are being completely flexible enabling you to transfer your ticket to any of our 2021 dates – please see next point.
I CAN’T MAKE THE NEW DATE
All 2021 dates are taking place on the same weekend as their planned 2020 dates to cause as little disruption as possible to you. If you are unable to make the rescheduled date in your area we are giving complete flexibility to transfer your ticket to another of our festival dates – either Romiley in September 2020 or any of our 2021 dates.
IS MADE IN MANCHESTER NOT COVERED ON THEIR EVENTS INSURANCE?
This is a completely unprecedented ‘Force Majeure’ event, which is not covered on insurance.
I TOOK OUT REFUND PROTECTION, HOW DO I GET A REFUND?
This is a 3rd party insurance provided by Booking Protect via our ticket provider, Ticketsource. We cannot give any advice on this specifically, please contact Booking Protect directly at www.bookingprotect.com
WILL ROMILEY STILL GO AHEAD OR BE RESCHEDULED?
At this stage we are still planning for our Romiley festival in September to go ahead. It could be the huge party the community needs once this situation is all over.
WHAT IS ‘FORCE MAJEURE’?
“Force Majeure” means any cause beyond our control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments. We will not be liable to you for failure to perform any obligation under our Booking Terms and Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure.
Our booking terms & conditions, accepted at the time of purchasing your tickets via Ticketsource include ‘Force Majeure’ in Point 16 which can be found on our website and your eticket.
